Just this September we opened our beautiful new doors as the Goodman Community Center after being the Atwood Community Center for more than 53 years. We look different, but in many ways we haven't changed at all — we still offer programs to strengthen the lives of toddlers to older adults. But you'll see we now have a beautiful gym and fitness center, art rooms, a café, a grocery store style food pantry, and a wide variety of spaces to rent for your personal, community or business gatherings.

Whether you're looking for childcare, a positive place for your children to go to after school, adult enrichment classes, a place to host a birthday party or celebrate a wedding, or a spot to sit over a good cup of coffee, we're here in the heart of Madison's east side, ready to welcome you.
