TaDa! We met our goal!
Wow, in two short years our community helped us meet our ambitious goal of raising $12.4 million to build our new home. Gifts poured in to help us raise the $600,000 we needed to receive two challenge grants — $500,000 from the Kresge Foundation and $100,000 from the Madison Community Foundation, so that really helped accelerate our pace in the last stretch of our campaign.

Thank you, Everyone! It is beautiful. We think you’re going to be really happy with this new community resource, and we look forward to having you come see it.

We hope to see you at the party — our Grand Opening Celebration is on Saturday, September 27th from 12 to 4:00. Come see us at the new Goodman Community Center at 149 Waubesa Street — help us cut the big ribbon, explore our new facilities, enjoy live music on an outdoor stage, and of course, we’ll have some tasty refreshments for all.
