Enjoy an evening of fun, camaraderie, good food, and assisting the Goodman Atwood Community Center with its One Family Campaign. More than 50 items ~ Some will be sold via a silent auction, many at the live auction.

This project was the brainchild of a few neighborhood artists, who saw the potential and had a vision for what could be done with some underappreciated furnishings . Most of these pieces started out as not more than plain wood furniture. What has evolved from the process are inspired pieces of art and a building of community spirit. Many individuals and businesses have literally pulled up a chair to help out with this event.

Because every auction item has been generously donated, the total amount of every auction item purchased will be fully tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law.
The Goodman Atwood Community Center can accept payments by check, Mastercard, Discover or Visa.
Paint and supplies were donated by volunteers, Ace Hardware on Williamson, Home & Office Upholstery and McGovern and Sons Paint store on Odana Road.

Special thanks to Krishna Pradhan for his generosity with using some of his storefront as a workspace ~ we all truly appreciated a place in the neighborhood to gather and work together, sharing ideas and brainstorming. Special thanks to Paul Raymond of Home & Office Upholstery, who very cheerfuly shared his expertise many times over with project volunteers. Paul is also doing his own chair.

Many individuals have jumped on board, including these local celebrities and who have sponsored chairs: Joe Parisi, Peter Berryman and Dave Cieslewicz. The East Side History Club has pulled up a chair, as has Karen Faster in honor of the Hotdish Hoedown.

Local businesses who have contributed to this cause include, but are not limited to:
Absolutely Art, Ace Hardware on Williamson, Bunky's, Creative Energy Products, Gail Ambrosius Chocolatier, Hans Sewing, The Harmony Bar, Home and Office Upholstery, Martin Glass, Revolution Cycle, Rose Cottage.

Please join us on Friday evening, and support true inventive recycling in Madison, as well as the Capital Campaign for the new Goodman Atwood Community Center.
