Are you interested in using the food pantry?
You may visit our food pantry once a week. For your first visit, please bring identification for every household member. When you arrive, take a number. When your number is called, you may register. Until we are able to expand our hours, be prepared for a lengthy wait from your time of arrival until you are able to register and enter the pantry to choose your food.
Are you interested in helping the food pantry?
We need volunteers and donations of food items. For more information, contact Helen Hazelmare, Food Pantry Coordinator, helen@goodmancenter.org or 241.1574 x249.

Seasonal food programs
Thanksgiving baskets
Many families throughout Dane County struggle to put food on the table every week, and big holiday meals present even greater challenges. Every November our Thanksgiving Basket program provides groceries to at least a thousand area households so they can prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. It's a community effort " families, individuals, workplaces and organizations throughout Dane County donate lots of food and money so we can help families have a great Thanksgiving.
Want to know more? Our 2008 fact sheet
