Girls Inc. >> Inspiring all girls to be Strong, Smart and Bold!

Girls Inc. is a national organization that develops research-based informal education programs that encourage girls to take risks and master physical, intellectual and emotional challenges. These programs address math and science education, pregnancy and drug abuse prevention, media literacy, economic literacy, adolescent health, violence prevention, and sports participation.
Girls Inc. at Goodman
Girls Inc. is a part of the Lussier Loft's after school program for teens. Youth in the after school program attend study hall when they arrive, take a break for dinner and then choose from a variety of fun mini-courses for their last hour of afterschool--Girls Inc. being one of the mini course options.Girls inc. takes trips to fun and enriching places in the greater Madison area, performing community service, cooking, attending dance classes, biking, hiking, celebrating being girls, you name it! Girls can attend the entire teen center program or just come for Girls inc. Most of our meetings are during the week, but occasionally we plan fun weekend and evening events. If you're interested, give us a call or stop by the teen center.
