The Goodman Community Center offers programs for middle school youth designed to enhance their success at school, at home and in the community. We offer opportunities for exercise, relaxation, study and community service. We're proud of our special facilities for girls and boys in middle school, located within the Lussier Teen Center.

Eighth Graders > Do you dream of going to college?
In January of 2006, Governor Jim Doyle introduced this thing called "The Wisconsin Covenant," a program created to inspire you to plan for a successful high-school career that set you up to be successful in college, too. As an eighth grader in Wisconsin, you are invited to sign the Wisconsin Covenant Pledge, a promise that you will do these things:
1> Earn a high-school diploma.
2> Maintain at least a "B" average in high school.
3> Complete the classes they need to prepare them for higher education.
4> Demonstrate good citizenship and participate in their community.
5> Apply for state and federal financial aid in a timely manner.
6> Take the necessary steps to gain admission to a University of Wisconsin System institution, a Wisconsin Technical College, and/or a Wisconsin private college or university.
When you meet these goals and keep the pledge, you will be recognized as a Wisconsin Covenant Scholar, earn a place within our partnered systems of higher education, and receive a financial aid package based on your family's financial need that will help make college affordable for you.
This unique partnership represents the support of the State, our K-12 schools, public and private university and technical college systems, and the community all working together to help students do their best.
