Ballweg Gallery slated to reopen in January

The gallery in Ironworks is calling artists to apply to show their work.

The Ballweg Gallery in Goodman Community Center’s Ironworks will once again have showings.
The Ballweg Gallery in Goodman Community Center’s Ironworks will begin displaying artwork in January after having been shuttered due to COVID-19.

Goodman Community Center is pleased to announce another important milestone toward recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. In January, the Ballweg Gallery in Ironworks will reopen.

As Goodman looks to fill the Ballweg Gallery with monthly exhibits starting in January, it encourages all artists to apply as soon as possible. Both individual and group applications are accepted. Selections are made based on the presentation of a cohesive body of work ready for hanging in the gallery.

By presenting work by emerging and contemporary artists with a tie to Madison, GCC looks to reinvigorate the artistic spirit of our community by making it easy to enjoy and purchase original local art.
