It's fall, y'all! And that means the Goodman Center is BUSY!

It’s officially fall at the Goodman Center, and wow, it is BUSY! It’s so wonderful to see so much life in our halls, from the kids attending our preschool through high school programming, to the older adults coming in for meals and safe activities, to our teams getting ready for the incredible undertaking that is our Thanksgiving Basket Drive.

I can only imagine what it’s like when our doors are totally open, and let me tell you, I can’t wait for that day!

In the meantime, our teachers and staff are hard at work doing what they do best: building community through fun and educational activities and important services. And they’re doing it so thoughtfully. I’m blown away by how much this group of incredible people care about our community and how much they think of what others need as they go about their day-to-day work. It’s inspiring and why I’m so happy to be a part of this Goodman family.

I recently asked for your support as we got back into the school year. I told you stories of teachers and kids becoming their best selves, thanks to the work being done here at the Goodman Center. Please know that work can’t be done without the help of our entire community – including YOU. Thank you for all you do to make our community a place where everyone has what they need to be successful. We’re stronger together, and you help prove that every day.

Take care,

Letesha Nelson, CEO & Executive Director
