I ran into our Enrollment Specialist, Ashley, as I was walking down our child care hallway, and she got to talking about all the work happening with our Backpack and School Supply Drive. As proud as I was to hear about her and the Backpack Drive team's work, I thought to myself, "School supply drive? Didn't the summer just start?!"

Then I remembered just how much success depends on our ability to plan ahead and prepare for what's next. When you're trying to offer over 500 community kids access to quality school supplies so they can build their own successful starts, you need to start thinking about fostering that first-day-of-school feeling right in the heat of July.

That's why now is the time to donate to our Backpack Drive. We only have two weeks until our designated drop-off weekend at Ironworks — it's crunch time, y'all!

There are three main ways you can donate as a community member:

1. Shop for supplies and bring them to Goodman.
2. For those who love online shopping, we've got an Amazon Wish List for you to shop from whenever and wherever you'd like.
3. Make a monetary donation and let us shop for what's needed most.

The start of the new school year opens up opportunities for every kid to be proud of themselves and their place in the world. Will you be a part of that process by donating to our drive?

Be the Good Madison,
