The East High Girls Inc. Club has been hard at work getting the support it needs to make period products available in every bathroom at East. In order to make their plan happen, the club has already taken multiple initiatives:
- The club Co-chairs presented their ideas to the SASY Neighborhood Association with the goal of receiving a $2,500 grant—which they will be getting a response from soon.
- Gotten multiple donations from supportive community members.
- Summarized their goals to the school's administration, receiving 100% support from East's Vice Principal Lepinski.
Check out the three main goals of the project:

Goal 1: Menstrual products will be accessible for everyone in every bathroom. Goal 2: Any newly constructed bathrooms will have menstrual product disposal options as soon as those bathrooms are available. Goal 3: Create a period pantry that will provide menstrual products for EHS bathrooms, students and school community members, and that will be restocked when needed.
These strong, smart and bold high schoolers are working towards growing East High's period accessibility for years to come.
