I am a senior at East High School and have been a part of the Goodman TEENworks program since my freshman summer, so about four years now. My plans after graduation are to attend Madison College for its two-year transfer program with a major in nursing.

I’ve been with Goodman for about two years, and it’s been a very pleasant and easygoing experience. After graduating, I plan on going into a five-year electrician apprenticeship.

Well, I’ve been in Goodman almost my whole life — through day care and after-school programs. I’ve been in TEENworks for four years now. After graduation, I’m planning on continuing school in college to learn about dermatology and cosmetology.

I grew up playing basketball at Goodman, but I started going to the summer high school program in 2024. After senior year, I am going to prep school in Missouri for basketball to pursue a better future as an athlete.

I’ve been working at Goodman since my sophomore year of high school, and over that time, I’ve been working through my classes and getting everything in place to graduate. After graduation, I plan to go into carpentry because I think hands-on work is fun and want to build a solid career doing it as well.

Ben Tipson
East High School

I’ve been coming to Goodman since I moved to Madison in the summer of 2021, so it’s always been a place in which I’ve felt welcomed. After graduation, I’m going to be attending Carleton College, a liberal arts college just outside of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I’m still undecided as to what I want to pursue for my major, but I don’t have to decide it up front right away, and will likely experiment with lots of things until I find something that feels right to me.

I started at Goodman in 2024, and I am graduating early from LaFollette. After graduation, I am taking some time to figure out what my next steps are.
