AARP wants Wisconsinites to be aware of the possible dangers of using cryptocurrency kiosks that are popping up all over the state.
Cryptocurrency kiosks, often called Bitcoin ATMs or “BTMs,” enable users to engage in various cryptocurrency-related transactions that often prove to be fraudulent. BTMs have been placed in hundreds of gas stations, convenience stores, and even shopping malls across Wisconsin.
Learn more about AI, crypto, and how criminals are using these tools to steal your money and information. During this free event, experts will share tips on how you can stay safe in our increasingly digital world. Plus, you can get your questions answered during our Q&A panel and resource fair.
