6PM–7PM
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a Lutheran pastor and theologian who spent two years in Nazi prisons before being executed for his role in a plot to kill Hitler. After his death, a collection of his writings called Letters and Papers from Prison became a surprising bestseller and classic of the 20th century. Now in the 21st century, his letters continue to speak to people of many faiths and of secular perspectives. Join us for a discussion of the enduring influence and fascination of Bonhoeffer’s life and writings.
Andy Twiton is the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church (ELCA) in the Atwood Neighborhood. He is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and Luther Seminary.
