“Natural” A Solo Exhibit - Lyndsey Standage Gallery Reception
Paintings by Lyndsey Standage
Jan 3, 2025
Artist Statement
Existing between the ordinary and the fantastical, my work depicts animals and objects in dream-like environments. Each painting’s goal is to combine naturalism and expressionism, to bring to life our natural environments with vivid coloring, intricate detail and dynamic arrangement. My work is not only an artistic expression, but also a conduit for exploration. My paintings impart a new perspective of wildlife, fostering an appreciation for the delicate balance of our natural world.
