What makes our older adult community so special?
The Goodman Community Center is a space for gathering, and we host a variety of events to bring members of our senior community together for fun activities and good conversation. Your health and wellness is important to us, so we also offer a variety of physical and mental health opportunities too. All of this is wrapped up in a community that is welcoming, warm and inclusive.
Check out our activities and stop by. We hope to see you soon!
All of our older adult programming is open to all individuals ages 50+, with the exception of our 60+ weekday meals.
“If you’re a senior and alone, come! You don’t have to be alone. Come to the Goodman Community Center.”
Activities for all ages
Because of COVID, our programming is a currently mix of in-person and virtual events. Masks are required at all in-person events, and tables will be distanced to stay safe. When you arrive at the Goodman Center, please ring the doorbell to be let in.
Our older adult programming, including weekday meals, will be cancelled if the Madison Schools are closed due to snow. For the safety of all, programming may pause in the case of tornado or severe thunderstorm warnings.
If the Madison Schools are closed as a result of a planned closure, Goodman Community Center will cancel the older adult meal if a blizzard, ice or storm warning is issued. Please check our Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.
