The Girls Middle School Coordinator is responsible for creating, implementing, monitoring and growing gender specific programming for young women as an integrated component of the overall LOFT middle school out of school programs. Focusing primarily on middle school program implementation, as well as, visioning, planning, and providing oversight for middleschool, the LOFT Girls Middle School Coordinator oversees the day to day operation and reporting for Girls Inc. program at the Goodman Community Center. This position works closely with other LOFT and GCC staff to develop community partnerships, recruit and support older youth programs offered by and in conjunction with other youth development entities, non-profits and community groups using the LOFT for youth directed programs.
All elements of the program for youth should be guided by the Goodman mission, vision, and values, input from youth and community members, Girls Inc. National Strategic Priorities, evidence-informed quality practices, and stated program outcomes.

Our Early Childhood Education program at Goodman Community Center is a looking for a Preschool Teacher to join our team in our mission to provide a fun and loving place for our youngest members of our community, children ages 3-5 years of age, to learn and grow in a safe and encouraging setting. Staff work as a team to guide the development of children as they learn in an environment of discovery and play.
This position will collaborate with the 4K Teachers and other classroom teachers in organizing, supervising, and implementing early childhood education programming that supports the goals of childrens programming.

The Afterschool Program at Goodman Community Center is shifting to support our community needs of all-day programming for children ages 5-12 year olds. GCC is a place for elementary aged children from all backgrounds to play, socialize, learn and grow. Our teachers are responsible for the supervision and management of their classroom while supporting GCC goals and outcomes. In cooperation with the Afterschool Team, the teachers plan and carry out daily activities, evaluates the effectiveness of the program and activities, ensure the safety and physical well-being of the children, maintains regular communication with parents, and contributes to the effective operation of the overall childcare programs.
