LOFT Girls Inc. Coordinator Middle School

The LOFT Girls Inc. Coordinator is responsible for creating, implementing, monitoring and growing gender specific programming for young women as an integrated component of the overall LOFT middle school out of school programs. Focusing primarily on middle school program implementation, as well as visioning, planning and providing oversight for middle school, the LOFT Girls Inc. Coordinator oversees the day to day operation and reporting for Girls Inc. program at the Goodman Community Center. This position works closely with other LOFT and GCC staff to develop community partnerships, recruit and support older youth programs offered by and in conjunction with other youth development entities, non-profits and community groups using the LOFT for youth directed programs.

All elements of the program for youth should be guided by the Goodman mission, vision, and values, input from youth and community members, Girls Inc. National Strategic Priorities, evidence-informed quality practices, and stated program outcomes.

The board and executive director (ED) are looking for a mission-focused, seasoned, strategic, and process-minded leader with experience growing an organization, leading an executive management team, for our Senior Director of Programs and Operations.

The Senior Director of Programs and Operations is responsible for leading and supporting others at GCC in delivering measurable, cost-effective results that fulfill the mission, vision and values of GCC.  The Senior Director has the skills, sensitivity, and confidence to develop the talent and capabilities that each member of the team brings to this mission. While it is essential that the COO bring efficient and effective systems to increase the productivity of the organization, it is also critical that the team retain a focus on innovation on a foundation of evidence-based best practice.  Supervises: Director of Human Resources, Director of Programming, Chief Financial Officer, Director of ERP and Financial Services, Asst. Director of Operations, Assistant Director of Hospitality Services.

Annual Giving and Marketing Manager

The Goodman Community Center seeks a Annual Giving and Marketing Manager to guide the strategic direction of the organization’s community giving program. Working closely with the Chief Development Officer, Communications Specialist and other Communications and Development Department colleagues, the Community Giving andMarketing will play a critical role in cultivating current and future donors to GCC and developing and implementing a strategy to increase the size and number of individual gifts from community givers.

4K Teacher

Our 4K program at the Goodman Community Center (GCC) is a place for young children 3-5 years of age to learn and grow in a safe and encouraging setting. Child-initiated play as well as intentionally-designed activities are provided in our mixed age classrooms. Our 4K teachers work collaboratively with their teaching team and support the organization and implementation of 4K programming while meeting the goals of GCC in collaboration with the Metropolitan Madison School District.  Over the summer months, the 4K teacher helps support programming which is meant to help acclimate new children and families to GCC’s early childhood programming prior to the school year starting in the fall.

This is a full-time 40 hour/week year-round salaried position.

Substitute Teacher (Both Preschool and After School Available)

We have opportunities for Substitute Teachers to support our childcare, preschool, 4K, and after school programming.

Our Substitute Teachers may support our 4K and classroom teachers as well as our elementary afterschool teachers in day to day organizing, supervising, and implementing preschool and after school programming that supports the goals of GCC’s childcare and elementary after school programs and 4K curriculum.  Shifts available may be half day or full day, accept as many shifts that are convenient with your schedule.  After school scheduling is: 

Monday 12:15p-5:30p, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 1:45p-5:30p & 12:45p-6p Wednesday

Monday 12:15p-5:30p, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 1:45p-5:30p & 12:45p-6p Wednesday

Early Childhood Education Partnership Manager

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Partnership Manager

The ECE Partnership Manager is responsible for developing key partnerships and programs that focus on social emotional, mental health and enhances cognitive and academic learning. This position works under the cross collaboration systems project funded by the United Way of Dane County. The goal of the program is to ensure children, parents and schools are ready for success of GCC ECE graduates. At a minimum, the ECE Partnership Manager develops and supports partnerships with parents, Anesis Counseling Center, the Rainbow Project, local elementary schools, and the Madison Children’s Museum.
