We are currently recruiting for an Urban Agriculture Educator reporting to Assistant Director of Youth Programs.  This position focuses on providing direct service to high school students in both the Goodman Community Center in-house innovative school day programs (Seed to Table Transition Academy and Summer School)This position is responsible for managing the urban agriculture components of TEENworks.  This position teaches urban agriculture skills to teen participants and helps run the Goodman Seed to Table Garden.

This is a part-time position working 10 hours a week up to 20 hours maximum. This position is not benefits eligible.

The Goodman Community Center (GCC), where we strengthen lives and secure futures has an exciting opportunity for a fundraising and development leader as our Chief Development Officer reporting to our Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director.  This key position oversees our Development, Donor and Corporate Relations, and Communications functions.  The Chief Development Officer is a senior leader position and works closely with both the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director to ensure that Development strategies, initiatives, and activities support the growth and sustainability of GCC in order for us to continue to provide resources to the community.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is responsible for the strategic direction of fund development and communications for the organization and ultimately the long-term organizational stability. This position leads staff and fundraising volunteers to institutionalize philanthropy. The CDO fosters a culture of philanthropy within the organization and assures that the organization’s systems and procedures support fund development, donor management and cultivation, and donation processing. The CDO plans, coordinates, and assures implementation of strategies to develop donors and contributions to support the organization. The CDO maintains accountability and compliance standards for donors and funding sources.

Program Data Specialist

The Goodman Community Center (GCC), where we strengthen lives and secure futures has an exciting opportunity for a data enthusiast to support program evaluation and development across the Goodman Community Center.  With the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Program Impact, and the Assistant Director of Evaluation, the Program Data Specialist works to ensure program impact is monitored, evaluated, and used for continuous improvement, grant compliance, and reporting.  The Program Data Specialist will develop and maintain quality data systems and ensure timely, accurate data entry across the Center.

Children's Programs Per Diem Substitute Teacher

WAGE RANGE IS $18.00-$20.00 PER HOUR 

Children’s Program serves Preschool – 5th grade students.  The Per Diem Substitute Teacher position provides coverage for staff’s absences and additional classroom support.  It is an as needed position, that may work a maximum of 240 hours within a calendar year and must work a minimum of 4 shifts in a month in order to remain employed.  If shifts are unavailable, then the minimum requirement does not apply.

Social Emotional Learning Specialist

The Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Specialist is responsible for the organization and implementation associated with the Conscious Discipline Model (this is the SEL model used by Goodman) and other SEL tools across Children’s Programming. This position will work directly with the Assistant Director of Children’s Programming and the Program Managers to develop systems in order to support training and ongoing monitoring of SEL with Children’s Programming staff, participants, and families to ensure all goals and outcomes are met during the year.

All elements of the program for children should be guided by best-practices in child and youth programming, childcare, accreditation and licensing regulations, Wisconsin After-School Continuous Improvement Process (WASCIP), Youth-Adult Partnerships, and other desired program outcomes.
