The Goodman Community Center is proud to host a variety of activities for people of all ages in our community. Our activities calendar lists special events or ongoing activities outside of our regular programming. The event listings below are not comprehensive and show only some of our outside facility renter's events.
To edit an existing event, please email socialmedia@goodmancenter.org with the changes. To inquire about hosting your own event or activity, please read our Reserving Rooms page.
Join Madison author r. r. campbell to celebrate the launch of his science fiction debut, Imminent Dawn.
New York Times bestselling author Matt Forbeck has called Imminent Dawn an "incisive techno-thriller that gets more tense with every page." Author M.A. Hinkle describes it as "sci-fi Game of Thrones."
The evening event will feature readings from the author, a question-and-answer session, raffles of past and forthcoming releases from r. r. campbell, and the premiere of a "choose your own destiny" game set in the same universe as Imminent Dawn. The author will also provide light refreshments.
The event is free, but please RSVP here. To learn more, visit empathyseries.com or email r. r. campbell at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
