What is the Holiday Gift Sponsorship Program?
The Holiday Gift Sponsorship Program helps families of the Goodman Community Center's youth programs provide holiday gifts for their children. You, your family, organization or business can help provide gifts to more than 500 children and youth in our preschool, 4K, elementary afterschool, middle and high school programs.
Please note: This program is for children currently enrolled in Goodman Center youth programs. If you are a family interested in finding a sponsor for your child(ren), please call 211 for information about other holiday gift programs in the area.
How does it work?
Goodman Community Center families complete "wish lists" for their children under the age of 12. Children ages 12 to 18 will receive gift cards. You may choose to sponsor as many children as you wish. Children wish for popular new toys, old favorites – and often needed essential items.
To be assigned a child or a family, contact Ashley Rounds (info below) starting Friday, Nov. 11. All gifts should be brought unwrapped to the Goodman Center Ironworks building (149 Waubesa St.), by Friday, Dec. 9.
Donate Gift Cards
We always need extra $40 gift cards for teens, and it's helpful if you purchase the gift cards for us. Teens love gift cards from Kwik Trip, Walmart, Target and Walgreens. You can drop them off at our Ironworks building (149 Waubesa St.), attention Ashley Rounds.
