2024 TGIF Camp
This event took place August 16. Thanks all who joined us for an extra special day!
Join Girls Inc. of Greater Madison (MSCR & Goodman Community Center) on Friday, August 16 from 9am - 9pm for The Girls Inc. Friends (TGIF) Camp, an end-of-summer day camp designed to bring girls and nonbinary youth from around the area together to celebrate the things that make them unique.
Role models from the community will guide youth through a schedule packed with creative outdoor activities, such as games, guided hikes and discussions – all designed to inspire participants to feel strong, smart and bold!
Activities will explore the six principles of the Girls Inc. Bill of Rights. The day includes:
- Outdoor education and orienteering
- Lunch, snacks and a campfire cookout
- Career Circus
- Ropes course for older youth
- Night hike
- Relationship building
- And so much more!
Guardians will drop off and pick up children at Goodman Community Center Ironworks Building at 149 Waubesa St., Madison. Youth will bussed to Madison School Forest from GCC. An earlier pick up option is available (see more info below).
