Orange Tree Imports First Friday // Oct. 6

Every month for First Friday on Monroe Street Orange Tree Imports selects a nonprofit partner, and donate 20% of their sales during the event to them. For October they've chosen our Thanksgiving Basket Drive. Shop to support Goodman!

Festival Foods Paper "Turkey" Sale // Oct. 16 - 27

Add a paper "turkey" to your grocery bill when you check out at the Madison and Verona Festival Foods stores. Your gift of $1 or $5 will directly support the purchase of groceries for our Thanksgiving Basket Drive, and a turkey with your handwritten name will hang by the registers at Festival.

Working Draft Halloween Party // Oct. 28

Don your costume for Working Draft's Halloween party, and bring some nonperishable foods with you too! This annual bash will include a food drive for Goodman's Thanksgiving Basket Drive, as well as a raffle that will benefit the Goodman Center.

Food Fight Restaurant Group Fundraiser // Oct. 30-Nov. 12

Add a donation benefitting our Thanksgiving Basket Drive to your dine-in check or online order from Monty's Blue Plate Diner, Bar Corallini and Tex Tubb's Taco Palace. Now that's a pretty good excuse to let someone else do the cooking!

Add a donation to the Goodman Community Center's Thanksgiving Basket Drive when you order from the Glass Nickel Madison-area locations listed below. Order online or by phone. Gifts will be matched by Glass Nickel up to $2,600.

Players Sports Bar Fundraiser // Nov. 8 - Nov. 15

Hy-Vee Food Drives // Nov. 11 & 12

Donate to our Thanksgiving Basket Drive while you shop! Purchase items from our grocery list during your regular shopping and leave them in a marked cart near the entrance, or leave your frozen turkey with your cashier. Hy-Vee will deliver them to us in time for Thanksgiving.

Metro Market Food Drives // Nov. 10-12 & 17-19

Starkweather Brewing Meat Raffle // Nov. 17

Buy a 50/50 raffle ticket for Starkweather Brewing's meat raffle! Proceeds will be donated to our Thanksgiving Basket Drive.

When: Friday, Nov. 17

Cranksgiving // Nov. 19

Part bike race, part food drive, part scavenger hunt, Cranksgiving benefits the GCC Thanksgiving Basket Drive. Riders will receive a manifest with scavenger hunt details that include what you need to pick up and where to get each item.

On the day of the event bring a bike, a bag, a lock and about $25 to $50 to buy food. Oh—and nobody is gonna be mad if you get more than what’s listed on your manifest. This is YOUR grocery-getting adventure. So stuff those panniers with stuffing, strap that turkey into your bike trailer, and grab all the green beans you can carry.

When: Sunday, Nov. 19, 11am

Where: Start as a group at the Wisconsin State Capitol (optional)
