Goodman Community Center | Eureka!

Eureka! A personal and professional development program from Girls Inc.

Girls Inc. Eureka! is a free five-year STEM-based program that supports late middle and high school girls and non-binary youth as they discover their dreams for the future. Eureka! uses critical thinking, hands-on activities, sports and field-trips to prepare participants for their bold futures.

Eureka! summer camp will include:

  • Swimming Lessons.
  • Sports and movement activities.
  • Daily field trips.
  • STEM labs led by university professors and students.
  • Job shadowing.
  • So much more!

Eurekans will have the opportunity to make friends and connections across all of Madison! There are a limited number of spots, but ENDLESS opportunities, including a future internship with a Madison business or organization (more info to come).

Girls Inc. of Greater Madison's Eureka! 2024 summer camp is a pilot program. Youth who apply and accept a spot in the 2024 camp will have the option to continue with the program but are not required to do so (but we hope they do)!

Application Process

Interested rising 8th (current 7th grade) and 9th (current 8th grade) students must fill out the initial application by April 30 to be considered for the 2024 camp. From this application, students will be selected for interviews in late April/early May.

Applicants will be notified of their application status and further directions via email.

Only 20 spots are available for this year's cohort. Interest level will determine the selectivity of the application process!
