At the Goodman Community Center, our main goal is to provide corporate partners with the highest visibility possible, an opportunity to support high quality programming benefiting children and families in need, and an opportunity to work with one of the most trusted non-profit brands in Dane County.

We’d love you to join us in strengthening our community.

“Why should a Madison based business invest philanthropic resources in the Goodman Community Center? Quite simply, it is because the GCC delivers measurable results in an accountable fashion, addressing significant social service needs in our community. I have been a staunch supporter, both personally and in my corporate role, of GCC for over 15 years and have been consistently impressed with its passionate commitment to delivery of results.”

—Rick Searer, Retired President of Kraft Foods North America

Corporate Sponsor thanksgiving basket WEBEvent Sponsorship

The Goodman Community Center hosts a variety of events throughout the year. We'd love for your business or organization to contribute to making each event fabulous.

Thanksgiving Baskets

Each year, GCC provides Thanksgiving meals to 3,000 families across Dane County (feeding more than 10,000 children and parents annually). We can only achieve this because every year organizations like yours pull together and contribute tremendous amounts of food, money and time to help us organize it all. Give the gift of a holiday meal to families in our community and become a Thanksgiving Basket sponsor.

Beer & Chocolate Tasting - Friday, June 3

In May 2015, the Goodman Community Center hosted its second annual Beer & Chocolate Tasting. More than 350 people attended the event, with many craft breweries, chocolatiers, a photo booth and two great bands. This year, we expect the event to be even bigger!

Corporate Sponsor Program Laura Zastrow Photography WEBThe Goodman Community Center has a variety of programs for every age and a variety of interests.

Early Childhood

Our 4K program and preschool programs prepare young children for school — cognitively, emotionally and socially. Children spend 3 to 10 hours a day, 50 weeks a year in our care. GCC is making strides in closing the achievement gap.

Elementary

Our elementary school afterschool program is aimed at enhancing academic skills, boosting nutrition, helping participants get and stay fit, and providing youth the skills and opportunities to make friends and have fun.

Middle School

Our middle school afterschool program is focused on increasing academic achievement through daily tutoring and incentive enrichment programs such as jazz groups, multimedia creation, STEM programming and gender-specific leadership groups.

Seed to Table

Seed to Table is an innovative inquiry-based high school program, offered in collaboration with the Madison Metropolitan School District. Seed to Table focuses on urban agriculture, culinary arts and food preservation to advance students’ science and basic education through hands-on learning.

TEENworks

Our TEENworks teen employment and education program offers youth employment training in three career pathways: culinary arts, grounds and maintenance and early childhood education. Youth can earn money while receiving valuable job experience and training.

Older Adults

Our older adult program offers seniors weekday meals, gentle exercise, Tai Chi, bingo, cards, ping-prong, philosophy discussions and laughter. Our program aims to reduce isolation by building a strong support network.
