Share Your Life Story through Poetry
Poetry writing workshop with former Madison Poet Laureate Fabu Phillis Carter, PhD.
Weekly on Friday

Fabu Phillis Carter, professionally known as Fabu, is the former Madison Poet Laureate (2008-2012) and an author of seven books. She is an active public lecturer, workshop leader, poetry columnist and storyteller. Fabu creates a welcoming space for individuals to discover that yes, you too can write poetry!
This series will invite writers to share their life story or legacy. Everyone has a story to tell. Upon completion of your poetry, you will have something to frame and share with your family and friends. You will also have the opportunity, if you choose, to display your poetry at various sites around Madison.
Participate online or come to GCC to participate with a group.
Contact Gayle (info below) to register.
Sponsored by Madison Public Library and presented in collaboration with Goodman Community Center, NewBridge, Monona Senior Center and Madison Senior Center.
